HDS U60XR

There is no specific drive level. Each light was calibrated to the emitter to produce 60 lm. If you had an inefficient emitter it would drive it hard, while an efficient emitter would drive lower and might last a lot longer.

30 min was guaranteed runtime, it was often a fair bit longer.

Each light is calibrated at the factory during the production cycle. This equipment and method got sold to Novatac. One hopes they are using it.

HDS and now maybe Novatac are the only companies to use this method. With LED's there can be a fairly high variance between LEDs in brightness and efficiency, this could easily be >20%. Most companies set a fixed current so runtimes are about the same, but brightness varies from unit to unit.
With HDS the brightness was fixed but runtimes varied from unit to unit.
