Hi all,
i have been thinking of making a auxillary headlight for my motorbike, the thought of 4X fenix l2t heads came to mind, so they came today and i made a small enclosure for them out of an old vhs box.

after wiring them in series and throwing 12 volts into them i got what i expected, bright lights!!

One thing i overlooked in this design was the heat element, and the 1st and 3rd heads get very hot quite quickly, wierd, the other two get warm after a while, don't know why, and if anyone can help with that one it would put my mind at rest.
the main problem however is the overall heat issue, could any of you guys help with dissipating the heat? what material could i use and where should it go on or in the heads for the best result.
i have some aluminium pipe that just about fits the heads, would this work if i stuck an inch of that in there?

i have ordered some 10 ohm resistors for now just to keep the heat at bay but this, is as you know, at the expense of output.

Thanks in advance for any pointers you could give me.
