Hellfighter light CB

Seen it? Yes.
Have it? No.

I think it's made by the same company that advertises knives that "shed al-quaida body fluids" well or something like that. It seems like a lot of marketing hype that I had to wade through to find out it was an incan.

It was interesting, don't get me wrong. Thanks for the link.

Edit:

Also doesn't surefire have a HellFighter?

EDIT #2:

Dark Ops is the name of the company I'm trying to think of:

I think that there are several companies that are marketing the same light, just with their name on it and some small changes.

I found this in a catalog of FNH Usa, it's called the Viper X-11.

It seems the same as the Dark-Ops, just has a different number of spikes.

What a shame this light didn't get a more positive response from its early reviews. IIRC, most reviewers felt it was well made and functional. However, the bulb was set back too far into the bezel which apparently limited the spill. It was also said to be very heavy compared to similar lights

The comments about the aggressive toothed bezel ring were not good and many felt it was impracticle for the advertised pupose of smashing car glass. However, and perhaps someone could correct me if I wrong, this light did accept normal P60 type modules? If this information is correct then this light could be upgraded to something potentially more useful by using a high output replacement LED module?

Probably the most detrimental things about the light are the needless advertising hype and the retail price which seems particulary high considering its limited appeal.

It looks like a pretty interesting light, and an "out of the ordinary" light in a collection. I would get one except for the price, IMHO, the light shouldn't be more than 100 dollars or so.
