Help getting Jetbeam II Pro apart...

So i would really like to replace the red oring in the front of my jetbeam ii pro with a GITD one, but i cant get that plastic (why couldnt they just make it brass...:mecry retaining ring out, the one that holds the lens in place.

any ideas? anyone done this?

At your local walmart, in the watch section; there is a universal watch, battery replacement tool for $10.
