So after being told that the JetBeam Jet-I Pro I ordered is out of stock, with no ETA on when they will ever become available, I've decided to move on and pick another light to purchase.
My choices aren't exactly similar, or in the same range. I've narrowed it down to either a NiteCore D11.2 or a Surefire C2 with Malkoff M61LL drop in.
Obviously, the Surefire is going to run up to 3 times the price of the NiteCore, but I'm keen on getting a rock-solid light that will last me years. Plus, the Surefire looks more badass.
The advantage of the NiteCore is the price, but also being able to use standard AA batteries. Am I right?
What do you guys reckon?
