My jeep has poor interior lighting, especially up front.
Could anyone recommend a light i can clip onto the visor? Or maybe one that i can stick onto the top with a magnetic sticker or 3M tape?
My wife is always asking for a light, and there isn't a map light in front for some reason, just the middle and back of the jeep.
Warmer led preferred. Just don't like 6000k, 5000k at most.

Sure, something floody like a zebralight angled light might work, clipped to an elastic band wrapped around the visor.

I have the h53fc, and it runs on AA.

I sent you a link to amazon for an acebeam h16 high cri 5000k AA headlamp. $30, extra 20% off makes around $26 with tax. Allegedly uses 7075 aluminum, which, if true, is tougher than your standard 6061.

Edit** I ordered one, it comes tomorrow. I'll give you some first impressions when it gets here.

Editer*** I cancelled my order because it has PWM. Pwm is a dealbreaker for me, and is one of the prime reasons I stopped using my 4sevens preons. It hurts my eyes.

Not all PWM is bad, my eyes are just more sensitive to it than most, ESPECIALLY on low modes.

For pure utility based on your description, I would say the Nitecore NWL20 would serve your purpose...however, it seems to be another low CRI cool white option that Nitecore seems such a fan of.

It also seems (no personal experience with this model) to support power passthrough, a feature I am personally a big fan of for utility lights. Meaning you can remove the battery and run the light directly from the charger or external battery bank.

I would also guess any light with a proper pocket clip (i.e. screwed on and not just clipped on) would serve your purpose.

I like those, but will seem a bit bulky on the visor.
Unless I can find a way to mount to the ceiling instead.

I was thinking the "ceiling", as my Gladiator and (2) JKU's before that, have/had "hard tops" (Freedom Tops), and that's where I would attempt to mount (1), if I needed the additional light

My '04 TJ Rubicon is a soft top, and as such, would likely require to a visor mount

But I have to say, I've never had a problem with the interior lighting in any of my Wranglers/Gladiator

But these were the first things I thought of, when I read your post

Good luck in your search!

I honestly don't have too much issue with it, my eyes are excellent in the dark, for some reason.
It's my wife who has the sight of a bat.
I have the hardtop, so I was thinking of sticking on a metallic sticker, that can hold a lightweight light. Don't want it shooting off for any reason, so maybe a velcro sticker instead, with velcro glued on to the light.

I have a Streamlight Knuckehead. It's 23 cm tall, and there is no way that will fit on the visor.

If a 21700 light isn't too big, I can recommend the Acebeam E75. Up to 3000 Lumen and you can get it as a hCRI 5000K option.

Got one myself, and it has that almost unicorn screwed-on pocket clip.

I think i found it, but won't be high cri, unless I get someone to modify it.
It's cheap, its very flat, and simple to use. 1 button. Thickness is 0.6".

Ordered some velcro to tape it to my hardtop.

We'll see how it works, I can always return it, or gift it if I don't like it.

Was offered a zebralight, and think maybe it's too bulky, but might get it anyways, because it's a zebralight.

No offense, but that was smaller than what I expected. ^^

If you want something that mini, take a look at Wurkkos S04 or V10.

What year wrangler? There are a number of Jeep specific aftermarket dome/map light options from stick on rechargeable units to diy hard wired

I've seen those, thought about it, but for the price, I'd rather get something with better LEDs.

It's a 2020, with ACC (adaptive cruise control).
