Hi all. Picked this up but I have no clue (it's a desease, I know)... I think it's some older model of a scout light and was mounted on m4.

Other than that...no clue

thank you :)

Yes, thats a scoutlight with the LU60A adaptor ond M2 shock-isolated head.

The LU60A is just an E-C adaptor.

he sent some new pics and you are right. also, the tailcap looks interesting. do you know if there some some url with detailed info on it? thanx;)

It's a ScoutLight. My guess it is what remains of an M600C-BK KIT01

M600 with LU60A Lamp Module, with a broken FM6x BeamFilter.
Likely FM63 IR BeamFilter as it's supplied as part of KIT01 but without the actual filter its not easy to tell!

It started as an M600B (KL4 bezel), or my guess M600C (KX2C bezel).
It would have come with a UE07 remote tape pressure switch TailCap as well as the Z68 shrouded Clickie TailCap.

Note that the LU60A is a Lamp Module. It consists of the LU60A Lamp Module Adapter Collar (known on CPF as an "E to C" adapter), "M2" shock isolated bezel and P60 incandescent Lamp Assembly.

You think you've got it bad?

(No offense Al, just teasing. Your knowledge of SF jargon never ceases to amaze )

do you mind me asking what you paid for it? I recently picked up a used scoutlight as well for $150. But mine came with a KL4.

If you are interested, there are a lot of lego options for your new Scoutlight. Check out Malkoff VME head and either MC-E or M60 dropin for a truly powerful weaponlight.

if you want to stick with SF, pretty much any E-series head will work. I would recommend the KX2C but you may want to wait. the SF E2DL just became updated with 200 lumens. I hope SF will do the same with the KX2C. We shall see.

Also I can see in your picture, the Lu60A bezel has a SF filter however it is broken. you may be able to get it replaced by SF.

Al, any ideas to what a black filter is called that fits the LU60A/M2 bezel? my beamshaper for my M2 head is OD. but I would like a black version.

Likely an inline change to black given the trend to ScoutLights.
Perhaps there are two versions of the FM63 for the two colour ways... That's a call to SureFire Tech Support or a WeaponLight specialist.
It could be that only the FM63 IR BeamFilter is now in black and the others are still gray. SureFire manufacture in batches so it could be quite difficult to be definitive.
