I have two MM+ R2H's, one is WO and the other adjustable and set to WO. I don't remember which is in which host. Is there any way to tell them apart visually (aside from trying to adjust them)? Thanks.

I think the nonadjustable one wouldn't have a trimpot.

Perhaps Wayne can clear this up, but I believe all MM come with the trimpot. Some of them (the trimpots) would fail to operate in spec., so a jumper was added to bypass the pot. The trimpot was left in place to save time and labor.

Once the module is assembled, it is extremely difficult to view the jumper. About the only practical approach is to measure battery current with the pot in 2 or 3 different positions. No change in current would indicate a WO module.

That's a tough one.

There are modules with the trimpot but are shorted under the trim pot rendering them wide open even tho the trim pot is there.

The official WO have a SMT resistor where the trim pot is. Those are for sure wired WO.

As for the trim pots, you will have to by the bag as it was marked when it was shipped to you as WO or not.

Turning the pot on the shorted ones can short the output to GND, so, on the shorted trim pots it is best to not turn the trim pot.
