Well as a follow up I did get an email from Doug Walters (a Service Tech @ Surefire) who put an extra spring for me in the mail!! Go figure. Thanks Danny for the offer, but now that I am getting a new spring I guess I will keep my tailcap. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif I guess in the future I will ask to speak to a tech instead of a parts person.
