Help taking emitter & driver out of a Dorcy 3xAAA 1W

At my work we have the ACE branded Dorcy 1 Watt Luxeon 3xAAA torch. It's a OK light, better than standard Krypton/Xenon's I've seen, but no where the CREE Q4/Q5's I own.

I am having difficulty figuring out how to get to the driver & emitter.

Found out thru searches that all you do is:

- pop off the button & push the assembly down!

I thought the button was glued or something.
