I would like a recommendation on a compact 35w HID flasklight. I would like 3500lumens, and compact.
any recommendations?

About the maximum lumens possible at 35W is 3200.

The Polarion X1 is a 40W 4000 lumen masterpiece but expensive

The Xeray is made in a 35W and 3200 lumens

The Acro RL-11 is a great light value

The soon to be released L35 from Battery Junction will probably be the best value priced, 35W, li-ion light available at around $325. It should be available in 4-6 weeks.

Thanks, are the ones that G&P makes any good? I have heard that they had quality issues when they first cam out, but do they still?
They seem to offer a lot of light for the money.

The G&P lights have a terrible track record and their newest light seems to be even worse than their first. I would avoid them like an anti-personnel mine.....

If you like the conventional flashlight form factor at around that price range the Microfire K3500R is magnitudes better. Just know that although it's spec'd at 3500 lumens it isn't. It's closer to 2700-2800 lumens and has a 6000+K color temperature. https://www.4sevens.com/product_info.php?cPath=63&products_id=321

I was careful in that all of the other lights I mentioned and linked were 4200K-4300K temperature which is far superior.
