Help with leadlight!

Just got a new leadlight from Vitalspirit and when I adjust the pot it gets alot brighter but then goes dim and turns into two smaller dots! What could cause this? It's goes bright again when left off for a few seconds then just does it again.

try turning the pot down again.

remember, diodes CAN be over driven, weakened, and burned out.

I did and it works ok. So what, I can't modify this one? The diode must be complete SHITE!

perhaps you have a 110 with feedback sensor.

do you see a red indicator led inside?
green plastic wrap around the driver board?
2 wires dangling off the board and along the barrel?

these would indicate you have a feedback sensor to destroy.

No it has none of that. My lightvision one does though! What do I do just unsolder the read and black wires?
