hello all I have a maha mh c 9000 battery charger on my very last thread I had asked if I should discharge my new 8 pack maha batteries before I use them with the break in cycle which I did. the batteries started from 2505 all the way to 2584 after their 1st completed break. I used them one time I noticed however there not lasting so when they needed recharged I decided to break in again the 1st break readings before usage were 2558(1.43vlt) 2554(1.42vlt) 2584(1.43vlt)I used them in my scanner but they didn't last that long so I used the break in cycle once more and got this 2516 (1.42)2526(1.42) 2535(1.42) how come they went down so quick in mah .they are in the same order 2558 goes to 2516? 2554 to2516? 2584 to 2535?? the loss 0f a little vlt too does anyone now why or what I can do there brand new used once and the other I have in my scanners are going down fast to ?

PowerEx 2700?

They are not that far off and probably just settling in a bit. 10% of 2558 is ~256 and 1% is ~26, so you dropped ~2%, which is nothing.

Your scanner might be taking a lot of juice and the PowerEx are draining faster.

Try a better battery, like the Eneloop Pros. They should give you a bit more quality, along with some decent capacity.

This is your third thread with the same question. It has been answered by several people in the previous thread. 2% difference from one test to another is probably within the limits of precision of the C9000.

Unless you provide new information, such as the current draw and cut-off voltage of the scanner, you probably won't get any different answers.
