Included in the box besides all the normal listed things was a shorter body barrel. It was not even listed on the inventory list that came in the box. There was even a special cutout in the box's foam to hold the smaller barrel. No other instructions. The normal battery for this light is a 21700 (3.7v).

My guess is that there must be another optional battery that will fit and work in the smaller barrel. What could it be?

If you order one of these lights (new inventory) you will most likely get the added barrel, too. I really do like this light a lot.

Hmmm...I looked up the 18350 for size. Looks to be too fat with a diameter of 35mm.

The 21700 battery that goes into the light has a diameter of 21 mm. It's gotta be in the 21700 width.

The company gave no information what-so-ever.

I think you guys are right. The tube diameter of that small barrel is a bit smaller diameter and shorter than the longer one that fits the 21700 battery.

One thing I learned recently...battery size identification numbers have meaning. On a battery...the first two digits are diameter in mm and the last three digits denote length in mm. I compared tubes and did some measuring. It looks like the 18350 battery (3.7 V) is the one to fit that smaller barrel.

It is interesting that Mateminco is including these barrels into the kit. Using the smaller barrel means the flashlight could easily fit into your upper shirt pocket using the clip. Pretty nice.

Thanks guys!

Click hold takes you straight to the turbo on lep. You can then click on from hold. It's an excellent torch, for walking around on flood then hitting the lep for throw. I've had mine nearly a year and no issues. Unscrew the tail cap to save battery drain when not using for days

Thanks! I have been messing around with mine and really like this light. I think I have gotten the "clicks" down for the different modes.
