Newly Enlightened
Tonight I went for a twilight ride on my Surly LHT. I have mounted my Princeton Tec Switchback 3 on the fork using a Nob. I also had my LED Logic Striker-VG (with Seoul SSC P4 upgrade) on the handlebars.
I was riding on country roads in total darkness. Wow -- what a great combination. Flood from the PT3 and throw from the Striker-VG.
When approaching cars (twice in fact) I had drivers refuse to dim their high beams until I shut off the Striker-VG. That's when you know you have some real light happening.
I also was passed my a motorcycle and I would have to say my lights were brighter than his (and better tint as well).
Now that we have mounts figured out, the next round of experiments is on the combination of lights.
