Are there any thread on how to make your own hinge that holds its shape to make own headlamp? Or something at hardware store that is light and would work.

I've never seen any, but there are Loc-Line flexible stalks...

Loc-Line, especially in larger sizes, holds well at whatever shape you bend it to. Plus it's hollow, and wiring could be easily run inside the Loc-Line.
