Hmmm .. help? Brinkmann upgrade

I finally got in my CREE modules from DX. SKU 1343 and 6090. I got one question. How do I get the reflector out of my Brinkmann MaxFires? The holder where the xenon bulb sits, seems to be one piece with the bezel.

its not one piece, just grab the bezel around the lens and then grab under the fattest ring on the head and twist. the bezel will unscrew at the first seam from the end. then to install the new module, i used a 1343, just remove the outer spring from the module and then put the module into the battery tube (empty). screw the lens bezel back on until there is no gap and no rattles. insert your batteries and it should be good to go. this is only for the 1343, as its the only module i have.

I got it before I read this. I was playing with that reflector and spun it and nearly spun it right outta my hands. I wasn't expecting it. I like the 6090 better than the 1343. Both work well, but the 1343 is a very slightly green tint to it, but that's the CREE lottery I suppose. Very nice modules. Must resists finding more MaxFires to buy just to put modules in
