I'm looking for a charger that can charge common household batteries from either my house outlet and/or my car's lighter plug.

So far, this one seems like a good one, but I don't know a lot about them???

AccuPower AccuManager20

Any feedback, or alternate suggestions are welcome!

Has anyone used the car adapter for their charger? Getting ready to go camping for a couple weeks and I was hoping to be able to recharge my batteries if need. Having never done this before, I was wondering if there is anything I need to watch for, such as finding a dead car battery. Any help would be appreciated.

I think it depends on how many batteries you are charging off the car battery before running the engine to recharge it.
I have an old rayovac 1hr charger I used the car cord on for 4 days when we lost power to charge about 24 nimh AAs but I drove the vehicle every day which recharged the battery. I would guess you could easily charge a dozen AAs and still start a car as I think car batteries are about 100Ahr and perhaps it takes 3-5Ahr to recharge a 2500ma AA off a car battery.
