Horizontal Leather Holster for A2.

Hi,

I hate to admit it, but I've given up on my search. Concealco,
Maxpediton, SureFire and some local ones, haven't got what I need 🙁

I'm looking for a following holster for a A2 Aviator:
- Must be made from leather
- I want to carry it on my belt, on my back in horizontal position
- No pointy edges (those tend do damage clothes)
- It should be ready to accept a 1,77" (4,5cm) wide belt

Do You have any ideas where can I find such a thing ?

Try to locate a cell-phone closed holster. There will also be room to drop a folder in.

Look for Kazu, he's japanese and he builds custom holsters. I am looking at one holster for my surefire. Look him up at the custom b/s/t section.

A guy here on CPF named "qarawol" makes custom A2 leather holsters for any belt size. He sent me one to evaluate based on the width of belt I wear, it's PERFECT in EVERY way. I've been meaning to do a review on it for several weeks now, but my work pressures and now the pressure of having to move my office/shop have kept me from completing this.

Send him a PM or email - he does AWESOME work at a very reasonable price.

I like it too... it's one of my favorite pieces of gear!
qarawol does REALLY fine work - I've abused that holster from the day it arrived, and it still looks close to new! It's amazingly functional and practical, it holds the light securely and it's literally a snap to remove the light and have it in-hand! Best design I've ever seen for a flashlight holster so far.

hell, any of the general purpose round pouches will work.
maxpedition has some stuff in OD, and so does just about any tactical gear maker.

something like that might work, but i suggest to look for other brands aswell. just happened to have the maxpedition site open.

Absolutely - once I have this shop move over with, I'd be pleased and honored to do a full-featured review of the holster you sent. I absolutely love this thing... I wear it and use it every day and it fits my A2 like a glove!
