Just recieved my Lumens Factory HO-E2A for my surefire E2E. Put the new lamp in and light burned normally for a few seconds then flashed off and on a couple of times. I tapped the light a couple of times on my palm and it would flash on and off again then stay off. Light body started getting warm,so I removed batteries and they were hot. I am using surefire sf123a. Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be? Thanks.

Try a different (new, fresh) set of SF123A batteries.
If this replicates the issue then troubleshoot the aftermarket lamp assembly.

Lighthound is sending a replacement lamp assembly !!! Great customer service!!!
