Hi all!

I am looking to get 1.5 amps from a blank SOB board, what values for R1 and R2 should I pick, is it 0.5 R1 and 0.1 R2? or 0.5 R1 and 0.5 R2?

I want 2 of them to drive a P7 at 3amps from 2 Li-ion C batteries in a Custom FM 2.25 C mag

I know the Shoppe can solder the resistors for a fee, but can they solder some wire too so it can be made ready to use?

I've PM Wayne about it but haven't got a response yet.

Thanks!

Buy SOB blank. Choose .05 and .10 resistors to make 1.5A and solder on option.

Thank you for your reply Ms SS,

Regarding my other request to install some wires to the boards, can this be done too? I would need the 2 wires to connect the battery and 2 for the led, about 4 inches long each.

Would SS be willing to do this too?

Thanks!

It never hurts to add it to the notes in your order. You will never know what surprises may arise.;)

Thanks will do that!, order on the way

EDIT: :paypal: With the note. Thanks!

We do not read the info over at paypal... The note needs to in the order. Can you send Cindy and email to the shoppe and remind her. Otherwise, she doesn't know yet and your order is getting ready to ship.

Hurry!

This is very non standard. I'm going to guess and probably screw it all up. So, if it is not what you wanted it's what I thought you were requesting. I'm adding 4 wires. Two coming from the top for LED connections and two coming from the bottom for power connection.

This may not be what you want... In fact, since the power wires could be on the top or the bottom I'm not going to add those. I'm just going to add the LED wires as that I believe is the safe thing to do since it's not clear which direction the wires should go.

Hello Wayne, The wires that go to the led give me the most trouble soldering since I'm not that skilled, thanks for soldering those, the wires that go to the battery I feel more confortable soldering if need be.

Thanks for the service, Can't wait for them to arrive.

Hello dat2zip,

I got a question, I already installed the boards and been playing with my P7 Mag but have noticed that sometimes when I turn on the light only one board seems to be working and then a few seconds later the other one starts working since I see 1 level of light and a few seconds later the full power kicks in.

Any guess as to what the problem might be?

Thanks!

I would guess one is turning on faster than the other and is coupling back to the other one causing it to think it is over-regulating and that it takes time for it to recover before it finally comes to its senses realizing it's not participating.

Just a thought, and take into consideration I'm an electronics noob, but could a couple of diodes be placed in between the boards and the LED's to correct this?
