I have a 9volt M961 that currently has the MN10 bulb. I dont know alot about most of these mods I've been reading up on here and get a bit lost. I do however have a local guy who mods lights for fun and is likely a member here and will be more than happy to pass the info to him if it's too deep for me.
Anyhew the MN10 has very insufficient throw for what I want. I'm looking to cut through a bit of fog and get as far out as I can. Battery life is not a huge issue as long as I can squeak 20 or so minutes out of it.
I am on a budget here or I'd be ordering up a turbo head or maybe the conversion from TNVC. Is there a way to get good performance without breaking the bank? I'm pretty sure the MN11 bulb will dissapoint so I gotta go somewhere else. I really hope to not permanently mod the light but will if it's necessary.
