Present:

I am on my third HDS light but have only two now, which were both acquired in the last 60 days:

Executive High CRI 200 lumens, 4000K, R9050, Version 2.18 software
Rotary High CRI 200 lumens, 4000K, R9050, Version 2.18 software

Sold my original Tactical purchased in 2014, 250 lumens, Version 2.10 software. Went High CRI for EDC carry as I wanted to see the vibrant colors of wood, plants, and other colors. All other EDC non-HDS lights are in storage probably never to come out again.

Future:

Future plan to acquire Executive High CRI 200 lumens, 4500K, R9080 Version 2.18 software.

Like the OP, my first was a U60XRGT back in (yikes!) 2006.
Still have that one plus a Basic60 and a U85 with a few 17670 and 18650 tubes.
Had one of the marvelous Ti Ra's for awhile.
Still love and use them and can't believe that I have not sampled one of the newer generation models.
I kind of dig the different hum noises that the early models make on different levels, reminds me of an old tube style TV warming up!!

I had over 20 at one point, now I'm down to 6, plus a Ra Light and a Novatac.

  • Twisty 100 that was modded to a high CRI SSC and carried on my keychain for a while

  • Legacy Clicky 170

  • Rotary 120 high CRI

  • Rotary High Noon 18650, my current daily user
Oops that's 4. I forgot about one, and voted 3.

Will absolutely be ordering a titanium rotary Friday.

I picked up my first in 2011. The most I owned at once was 8, but I own six Clickys currently. Tried the Rotary twice, but it's just not for me. I wish I owned less, but I it's hard to choose.

My first was a Ra 170Cn back in 2011. My father still has that one. Over the years about 10, including an Ultimate 60 I got off ebay for $40. Now I have 4:
4000k 325 lumen clicky
3 o'clock high for the wife
2 x high noon rotaries

I have one, a 3 O'clock CR123 rotary. Bought the end of this past April.
I hope to get an 18650 rotary with the 4500k led on the 6th.

First one was a 200 High CRI Rotary from "the bay".
Then a High Noon Rotary from group buy - phase 1
Then a 3 O'clock 18680 Rotary used from a CPF member.
Then a 3 O'Clock 123 clicky from another member. Which is now home to the infamous "F89" sw45 219b 9080*
Now a 3500k Rotary mailed out today!

*F89's rabid enthusiasm sold me so I paid a guy to switch out the 3 O'Clock clicky 5k 219c emitter for a sw45 219b 9080. (The light subsequently went "poof" but was eventually restored to order.)

Still have and love them all.

3 HDS lights here purchased over last year and a half. High noon rotary, red led rotary, and XPL tactical rotary. Love the locator beacon and push and hold burst mode the most.

I've got five clickies.
Hyper red (2nd)
170N modded to 219C sm353 3500K (1st around 2014)
Orange cerakote 200 XPG modded to 219B sw45k R9080 (4th This light is on its fourth LED, first mod was a 219B much like a 170N, second was a 219C sm273 2700K and finally the 219B sw45k)
200 219B HiCRI (3rd)
High noon (5th)

And no, I didn't mod Johnny's failed light, my mods are cruising along just fine.

5 currently in the stable. Owned 3 others that are no longer in my possession. First purchase was in August 2011 from Going Gear, a 200 Clicky that was my main go-everywhere light for several years, and is still in my possession. My current EDCs are 325s or 250s, but the older 200 stays for sentimental reasons and still gets a nice amount of use.

Presently have two Rotary's (I still have the first Rotary I purchased from an online vendor located over the pond in Europe). First HDS was purchased (after watching a video review) was a 170T. Bought a few more, had the limited run 140 High CRI Rotary as well. Just remembered, one Novatac.

Wow, seriously too many to count. Started in the beginning...then the original Novatac bug bit..( remember the after market titanium bezels! ). Some early HDS, then the cerakote craze and all the group buys....orange (miss my orange!) Hyper red... All these have come and gone. Right now I have a 3 o'clock and a 300 lumen 4000K from the group buys. A 3000 and a 4000 shipped today. Hopefully I'll find time at work Friday for....well, you know. Mums the word!!!
