How many of you still use incans over LED's?

LEDs for most everything now, but for some uses incans are hard to beat. I don't (YET!) have an LED that can light up an object as far out as my magcharger, or my 9P with Turbohead. Or insanely huge spotlight for that matter. Though upgrading that to HID is something I might get around to doing sometime.

It's getting time to upgrade my collection. I've been slacking lately.

What I like about LED lights:

- a little brain between the battery and the emitter, ie. regulation & the ability to deal with a variety of voltages
- efficiency through less heat (relatively speaking)

What I like about Incandescents:

- the ability to handle more power
- colour rendition, and consequently better depth


An overdriven, white incandescent light still has more charm to it than any LED in my book so far.

Favorite Leds: Quark AA Tactical neutral white, Malkoff M30WF)
Favorite Incans: Surefire P91 on 2 18500's, WA1185 on 3 186500's.

After all that, the reality is that I use little lights more than big ones, so I guess I use LED's more, but I love Incans more.....
