My light is around 20 years old I believe? My pops bought if for me when I was in 6th/7th grade? I can't remember the exact time, but big money back in the early/mid 90's. It's a Surefire E2D Executive Defender when they first came out. It was lost for over 13 years (cutting the story short...too long). It had & I still own the original Xenon light with Stricker bezel, but upgraded it with a LED KX2C. It has lasted through so much...dropped from 100's of feet & still performs!!! It is going on my rifle soon. Apparently Surefire makes some shitass Scout Lights these days so, I'm going back to the originals. Why spend $450+ when you have the OG's that have outlasted their newer models.

Fenix L0D-CE single AAA battery on my keychain. Last 14 years. I love the form factor.

Given them to multiple people, all have kept them on their keys & all have survived. Well one person had to redrill keyring holes as the old ones broke through.

Wish they still made the model the same way.

Fenix PD31 (XP-G) so late 2010 and Fenix PD31 (XP-G2) so late 2012 or maybe 2013.

I purchased newer lights from other brands (Nitecore and Klarus) as well newer Fenix lights PD35 Tac PD32 2016 edition but my everyday light always was and still is the PD31.
