how to translate EMS shipping page? jumbled mess

if anyone has ever ordered anything from china and had it shipped by EMS, how do you view the tracking information?

my dbs was sent and i have a tracking number, but neither firefox or IE has successfully translated the tracking results webpage. i have no idea when to expect this light to arrive, and since it's from china, i have to be home to sign for it.

any suggestions?

Depends where it is, but it should eventually show up on usps.gov too.

ems works a little better with that link, ,but doesn't give me any useful info.

usps says:

Label/Receipt Number: xxxxxxxxxxxx
Status: Foreign Acceptance

i'll just keep my eye on usps from now on.

i tried that first, then alta vista babel fish. i got a bunch of squares with numbers in them instead of characters. :sick2:

from what i can tell, EMS says, "despatch from sorting center". aka "dispatch"

USPS says foreign acceptance.

no idea whether or not it means it's in transit or waiting to be shipped out.

i'm one of those people who will check the shipping status daily, if not multiple times/day. OCD, i guess.

i figure this light will arrive some time next week, and then the EO1's from fenix the following week. and if i order a holster for the dbs, somewhere in between. looks like my mailbox will be getting a work out!
