A dip in the jet stream has weather south of the Mason/Dixon quite pleasant. Warm with less tropical humidity means it's pretty comfy in the shade.

Watch out for Lee folks in the northeast

We're flying to Toronto for a 14 day cruise leaving Friday night through the St. Lawrence River and up around Nova Scotia & down the Eastern Seaboard to Ft. Lauderdale. Fingers crossed LEE blows through before we get there 🙏

Merely broke into the 80s today in Dallas. Humid to counterbalance but it was overcast with a light breeze so it was downright nice by compare to prior weeks.

Supposed to warm up next weeks but the forecast is lower to mid 90s. Perhaps just perhaps peak summer heat is behind us.

Oh boy! It looks like you are cutting it close. A day later, you'd probably be fine. Good luck, and have a great time!

The projected path at 6am today.
It's the left side of the storm that some are saying needs to be noted. Winds not so bad but surges and all kinds of rain could be the problem.

A week ago some were saying "this may be a cat 6".......

We're not scheduled to port in Quebec until the 18th so we may be okay. They'll probably stay overnight in a port if things get dicey 🤞

I turned the heat on yesterday to take the chill out of the air.
Today we are expected to get 1.7 inches of rain. Yesterday we had a drizzle all day that resulted in 0.7 inches.
Its been and its going to be damp and chilly.

My home is set for the heater to come on in a few degrees cooler. In the meantime we just put on warmer clothes knowing this winter the current weather will feel like Spring has returned.

Recent weather has been nice, daytime low-mid 20's (C), single digits at night. I wonder if this is compensation for the extreme heat not so long ago. Great for bike riding and doing outdoor jobs like painting, among other things, before weather gets too cool. .
