I don't mind it being a bit cooler just not freezing/snowing or worse freezing rain.
I grew up in the snow belt. Don't miss shoveling that at all.
When it rains here, the roads turn to snot-on-glass and most here don't know how to drive (I should end the sentence there LOL but...) ...in those conditions. LOL

Wasn't supposed to snow within 50 miles but it did.
My favorite kind.... leaf blower snow. Pure light weight powder that doesn't melt because the ground it lands on is frozen.
No snow though. Seems the snow storms stay 30 miles to the north in the Boone/Lowing Rock area. Now this new unpresidented storm running across the southern states is going to miss us south? How is that even possible? Snow in Texas and Florida? Atlanta? But we are spared?

A bit to the North, it's 26 degrees F, dry, going to be sunny, but the air quality is 💩
When I was in Greensboro we got 6" of ICE and my buddy in Richmond got rain.
I remember one year the Atlanta race got snowed out in February and we had sunshine in VA.

Santa Ana winds were blowing earlier today. 15 mph steady with 25 mph gusts. Pretty calm now tho'.

We're currently receiving the first snow of the season -
We had a beautiful sunrise this morning, but snow is predicted to start at 6:00 tonight. Only an inch or two.
It's something that snow makes pictures black and white and shade of gray.

Phil said 6 more weeks of winter. But in my area we are forecast to see temps in the 70's a few days from today.

In the last say 16 days, we've had multiple Advisory's or Warnings
Several days of Cold Weather Advisory
Couple days of Extreme Cold Warning
Three days, like today, of Wind Advisory
Gusts today have been as high as 56mph,,, last week the gusts were much higher and it should have been a High Wind Warning (crazy wind)
..we also have no snow, which is really unusual for my latitude.
and in all those listed, we also had near record High Temp last week.
VERY STRANGE WEATHER🤔
