Where I live the temperature didn't go below 34 so brrrrrrr that was a cold rain.
Travelling north a few miles it was 33. A few more miles north it was 32 and ice was everywhere. The thermostat at my work bounced between 32 and 33 all day until 4 when it hit 34.
After that you needed a helmet when walking under trees from all of the ice chunks falling.

Snow, slush, rain.... The Independent snow-removal company that the client at my 3rd Shift job contracted out to, likely wishes they had charged the client a lot more money this Winter season.

I'm going to help a friend move into his house at 2 pm. There are 15 cement steps to reach his front door. I hope we finish by 3 pm when the snow is forecast to commence.

When we're done, I'll be a retired guy near his fireplace. 🔥

We're forecast to get somewhere between 0.29" and 32' of snow, depending on which forecaster you listen to.
My bursitis says about 6-8".

About 5" total.
A storm raced across America from west to east and while that was happening the Atlantic was coughing up a juicy Nor-easter. When Kyle or wuteveryhehell they named it reached the east coast it kind of shoved the noreaster more east and less nor.
The coastal area got shelac'd pretty good. But us inlanders were spared the total devestation that had been predicted. Parts of NC had been predicted to be entombed in ice but luckily for them it got cold faster than predictions earlier in the week were indicating.
Phew!

Memories of being entombed in 6 inches of ice in Greensboro one year caused me to worry a bit for those folks. Thankfully they were spared this time. Six Freaking Inches of ice was sureal. To see cars and trees with a 1/2 foot of ice covering them was something I'll never forget.
