HP 6263B, my new bench power supply. 0-20V @ 0-10amps. got a host of operating modes & features yet to be figured out.

anyone used one of these before?

Interesting, I wonder how it decides when to switch. I've never seen an auto function before.

Are those 5C collets in that rack?
 
according to instruction, it switches when it reaches the preset current and/or voltage.

yes that's a set of 5C collets. I use those to open up lights without damage.

I wish I had the manual to my sorensen 60 - 18b
it has a red light by each meter
I think that they are over voltage and over current indicators.

or constant current/voltage status indicators of some sort.
