My newest Fenix "hums". Is this normal? Only found about it when holding it in my teeth, finding a strange vibration.

It's probably from the PWM circuit.

Does it hum on high?

Hey this is exactly what happens on my Nitecore. It's not humming per se, but I could feel fast vibration. I just thought that maybe its how the y designed the light. An yes, Gunner sir, it only does this when on high. Any explanation on this?

Oh, interesting... I would expect no humming on the highest settings - regulation with PWM off for full brightness.. regulation + PWM for dimmer settings, which would possibly introduce PWM noise.

Maybe just highly sensitive to the high frequencies of switching power supplies. I didn't notice any humming or vibrations from my NDI when I had it.
