I am now hooked on foursevens

I recently found a new in package quark smart. I am running some olight rcr123s in it and honestly I can't be happier. I am tempted to buy another, I am sure I can get some support for that!?

There's a 4sevens sub forum - the smart is an older, pre Prometheus product, not sure if there's full support, but they still make variations of the quarks

Still a bunch of old stock supplies on eBay sold by Terry who was/is one of the support guys for foursevens

One of my favoritestest lights is my Quark Tactical 2xAA. Good output options, max is 280 lumens, super easy "tactical" interface.

It's mostly been my hiking light. If it ever fails I won't hesitate to see what Prometheus has done with the brand.

I'm hitting the forums for the first time in years , foursevens is dead ? What a shame I have two MMU x3's and they still offer bang up to date runtimes , they were so efficient at the time !

Foursevens was acquired by Prometheus Lights. Some models are still available on darksucks.com

I have a couple of AA and a 16650. Nice lights with practical programming options. I bought the slate blue versions which came with a neutral emitter.

I was eyeballing the titanium blue one and when you said it had a nice warm light I decided to get one. Not bad for a AA backup light.

Nice. I have one in each of my cars. I only use lithium batteries as I was not that happy with the provided rechargables. They work but these lights do not get regular use so the lithiums replaced them.
I also have the 16650 version on my bench. Watch the programming video.

I read they don't warranty when used with alkaline batteries because they leak and gas off but I guess lithiums should be fine. The lithiums will also put out 1.5v instead of 1.3v like the rechargeable ones. I wish they could take 3.6v 14500's.

The 16650 would fill my edc needs but I needed another light to replace my Fenix E20 for house duty. I like the single cell 123 also.

I still have my tactical quark and turbo. Took me awhile to get some of the bodies.This is what I have: AA, 2AA, CR123, 2 CR123, 18650.

I think that's all the body that were made.

The 2x cr123 head is 3-9v compared to 0.9-4.2V like the others. You could use a 2x123 head on a 2xAA body and run two 14500's or other combos with extensions.
