I confess: I am really looking forward to the Ultra

Frank @ county comm has some milspec ones now. I never had the task light...the new one is suppposed to be brighter. It would be great if it was Arc-like in brightness.

Ever notice that everything, almost everything, gets compared to an ARC...small as an Arc, tough as an Arc, bright as an Arc etc?

I spoke to the people at CMG Equipment. The CMG Infinity Ultra is about twice as bright as the CMG Infinity. Nick at County Comm also confirmed that the Ultra is about twice as bright as the standard Infinity.

But not my keyring, I have an Arc for that.

I'm following that thread about it in the dealer's section. As soon as they're available, I'm ordering.

BTW, I did recently try an Infinity on my keychain. It's not as bad as I thought, since I only carry 3 keys. I don't consider it out of the question if you anticipate the need for runtime.
