...my first but probably not the last ALEPH.

Thank you very much Don, THIS is excactly what I need! I was very impressed by the perfect machining and the quality of the output concernig brightness and throw (Aleph1 head, NEXGEN 500 and 1xCR123). With the two stage switch it is a very useful combination. The swith needs a little time to get used to and I am still a little bit worried about loosing the body by "self opening" of the thread while carrying the light on the swifel belt clip but I think I find a solution for that.
The only really anoying thing I had during the purchase of my new light was the German Customs Department...They kept the light for more than a week and I think they liked it, too!--The battery was run half down and I had fingerprints on the lens...Hey Don, maybe you become an official supplier of the German Tax Forces /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Keep on rockin...

I fyou get the new SFT switch you willno longer have to worry about self opening cause it screws down further before turning on. plus the momentary is just soooo smooth

Ya but he'll also not have it on the swivel belt clip either cause there's no attachment point with the FLAT Top. What is the S for?? I've had a flattop for a couple months now and I love it but what is the SFT???

Jimmy,
The SFT is a a standard tail cap with tab mount but the guard is removed for the flush switch membrane and trigger switch mechanisim.
