Yep, while I was playing around with my P1D CE last night, Jack saw me and was impressed. He then asked my advice on what would be the most ideal single flashlight for him to carry in his bag. I told him that I will get back to him tonight after I will get some suggestions from the good people at CPF....no, not CTU.....any suggestions?

24 hours he is gonna need some runtime, not to mention retakes :)

Jack don't need any stinking light, he invented light and the dark is scared of him. :)

A Glock tactical weapon light, preferably with the optional Glock attached to it. He might find that handy (notice, to a CPF member, the weapon is the accessory to the weaponlight).

I had a dream last night that I'd flushed the baby down the toilet by mistake. I think I was giving him a 'shower' in the bowl and he slipped out of my grip.

Not really relevant but as we are talking about dreams...

All i know is I don't want to be in your dream if you recommend a made in China light to Jack. Doubt he will be thrilled with the prospect after his stint there.

In order to get out of there he may have to use one of their own lights....and if he gets attached to it, it may be the one....lets hope not.

Lets just narrow down his requirements:

The light should be compact and light (in weight) and tough as nails.
Should have at least two output settings, one for map reading and the main beam for all else. The main beam should be little more floody than spotty and be 100 to 150 working lumens.
Should be simple and reliable and of course have good run time.

With a bit of luck he won't have to use a Tigerlight inside a van again??

I forgot to mention that money is no object, CTU's budget will take care of that, and yes, forget about rechargeables, use normal cells, CTU will cover that as well....(in my house I have a C/C that does the same thing....)

I've also had a recurring dream centered around the 24 paradigm. It involves Nina Myers and she continually comes to me at night. You see, she's not really dead, but rather in hiding and I'm there to protect here. Me and my Surefire L6! For it takes a mighty light to handle Nina nowadays.

At one point he had a FBOP TigerLight.
