The blue wrapped power pack is actually a new manufacturer. If you have a blue battery it is the same spec as the white battery, but has a more recent manufacture date. Changing wrap color helps us keep track of manufacturer's and runs.

Yes there are two lamp modules available. the original lamp module is more effective for block and building searches. The beam spreads faster and it does not throw as far. It has it's tactical application, but I redesigned the reflector and found what I think is a best of both worlds situation. In fact, the first generation was preferred by traffic police.

As for the the competition vs. TigerLight. There is an independent test being done by BYU. It will demonstrate in 3d and 2d that the TL smashes you know who.

Finally, don't tell anybody this but TigerLight has developed a flashlight that is 3 inches long one inch diameter throws over four hundered yards, 900 lumens and runs for 10 hours cont. and takes 5 minutes to charge. As far as the weight it is so light that when you drop it, it floats in mid air. Price not determined.

Oh!!! By the way, all owners of tigerlight will get a discount on the new light when we finally release it. We just have a few things to iron out. So hurry and get your TL so you will be on our list.

Can you believe this??!! HA HA

Randy, man you had me excited there for a few
seconds. Whew, that would be a torch now.

900 lumens for 10 hours. If that can be made into a Tigerlight size 11 inch long package. I am sure many CPFers would be scrambling to get it. HID may be the key.

Hey Randy:

I'm assuming that new light will come with a free case right? (smile)

Thanks for a great light, great info, and a great sense of humor!

That's about how far my ARC LE will throw (in a magnified mirrored tunnel).
