Can't say I have either an E2E or a satin gray light, but I've definitely had my eye on the satin gray 6P. From the pictures I've seen, it's certainly one of the prettiest SureFires of about that size and power. Not sure if I can justify getting it yet, since I already have a G2, C2 and G3. Well, we'll see. Would love to see some pictures of yours, though.

I have a E2E I got about 6 weeks ago. I got it thinking I would get a LED upgrade but I kind of like it as is so until I find one I realy like I am happy.

Congrats, the e2e is a classic for a reason. There are newer and brighter technologies but that doesn't mean that the e2e is bad by any means

The gunmetal 6P is one very good looking light!

I almost regret getting a satin E2e, the anodizing doesn't match any of the KX2 anodizing.

Which looks better with gunmetal/satin, Natural HA or Black HA?

Nowadays, it comes with a clickie tailcap. It used to come with a twisty.

I've got a standard E2E. To be honest, I prefer my L4.

But the E2E is a classic that just works when you need it to. I like the various aftermarket options available for it. You can get a Lumens Factory lamp, and then run the light with rechargeable cells. Or you can get the Cree Q5 head for E2 from Optics HQ, and turn it into an LED light.
