I Need a buck regulator to drive a P7 led from 7.2V

Hi all!

I just ordered a P7 Led and have a FM 2C Li-ion body with a 2.5" throwmaster head, Already have a HAIII C size heatsink and would like to know how to drive the P7 to 2.8 - 3.0 amps from 7.2 Volts.

I was thinking 2 buck regulators set at 1.5 Amps but If I can find a 3amp regulator with dimming capability would be great.

Any ideas? Where to get them?

No dimming buck regulators that I know of.

I got a question, I was about to order 2 SOB's at 1.5a each at the sandwich shoppe, but can't seem to get the resistor values right.

Is it .05 R1 and 0.1 R2 = 1.5Amps?
or is it .05 R1 and .05 R2= 1.5 Amps?
