Hi all, I'm looking to ditch the huge EB1 tube. Looking for an E1B or E1D if it's SF. If aftermarket, let me know what you have. I'm not picky just getting some use out of lego parts.

Special Vehicles Team, Have you checked out the Vital Gear bodies? They work great too. They are slightly smaller. You can NOT use the factory E switch. Vital gear has it's own switch. It is a "silent" switch. Works well though.

Also take a look at the Malkoff MDC 1xCR123 body. High quality, McClicky Switch and awesome warranty. All for around $35.

I have seen the vital gear but was unsure about the button. Silent would be nice, sometimes the woman is like what's the clicking haha. Any idea where to find them? I searched and kept falling short, although fleabay has one for 50. I will also check the malkoff body, thanks for the tip. Appreciate the time you took to help me out.

Almost just ordered the MDC body. First i'm going to try to swap the wife's boss bodies with the 30th anniversary I gave him. It just sits in his jag and hardly gets used....we will see...haha. I just thought of this right before I hit confirm order.

What a gift! Man, I'm not sure I would give an anniversary edition away to anybody!

I replaced body/tailcap on my EB1 as well. The body itself isn´t any bigger than the usual E1e bodies but the switch is unnecessary long. I bought a Aleph 123 body as well as a Aleph McTC and a Mcclicky switch. It´s not much shorter but the light is able to tailstand that way.

Here is what it looks like now (on the left - the clip is not part of neither body nor tailcap):

You can get the parts at the sandwich shoppe and would have to add a rubber boot only:

+1 on the Aleph 1x123 body. It looks great combined with the standard Surefire tailcap and is about as simple as you can get.
