Be careful on ebay... rumor is there are counterfeit eneloops there. Not knowing what country you are in if you are in the US I would recommend finding some white top Japanese "Duraloops". as eneloops are not always easy to find locally.

YourTime - where in the world do you live? Deals on real Eneloop or Duraloops show up from time to time. In Canada we can get real Japanese Duraloops - and not really old stock either although I'd probably buy them anyway - for 6.99, 7.99 or lately 8.99 a 4 pack when they go on sale at Shoppers Drug Mark. Walk into almost any store in the country and potentially walk out with cells for under 2$ a cell.

Only in Canada eh? Pity. [1]

[1] You'd need to have seen the commercial this line is from to get it.

Hi tandem

Sorry, i live in Australia and it's hard to find LSD batteries for a good price. Im keen to get another 20 :)

If you're in Australia and need about 20 of them, whereabouts in Aus are you? I'm in Vic/Melbourne Metro and am looking at 20-30 of eneloops/duraloops but it's so difficult to find them at a reasonable price shipped to Australia. It may be cheaper to import 40-50 at once? Need to find a source though, that seems to be half the problem..

Are you camping for 6 months without a vehicle to plug a charger into or just looking for an excuse to purchse lsd's?:grin2: :grin2:

20 or 30 Eneloops isn't such a large number. I've got over 100 Eneloop/Duraloop/Imedions. Looks like I need a few more AAA's too now that I check the spares box.

The absolute best price I have found on eneloops is from Thomas Distributing

Visit their site, and calculate what shipping to Down-Under will be.
Be wary of ebay - you don't always get what you want.....

Doesn't sound like such a bad idea to camp away from civilisation for that time, but no, it's not on the agenda for the time being. A friend of mine wants 8, and I was looking at getting between 12-22 because most things I own use AA's (camera, torch, handheld GPS, handheld VHF marine radio).

Do Thomas distributing sell the new 1500x eneloops? I know that batteryjunction do because they list their model code, the two are quite close on price but the fact that Thomas distributing sells Maha chargers too makes me want to buy from them to save shipping.
Cheers.
