I own a few great lights but still don't know too much about batteries.

OK so I am currently EDCing a night core p12. I also own a zebra sc600, Fenix p12 ue, tk21, and pd30. And a plastic surefire that I can't remember the name. I just read the battery safety thread and it opened my eyes a bit. I am using the batteries and charger that came with my Fenix tk21, they are ultrafire 2400mah 18650s. While these have been fine for my usage and have lasted a very long time, I want to buy a good safe charger and 4-6 high capacity protected cells. I've heard AW is the way to go. Could you guys point me in the direction of what's considered the safest, best, highest capacity, and is compatible with my lights (except the pd30) My ultrafires do have a small button top but it's almost flat. They have worked in all the lights mentioned that are capable of taking 18650s. Thanks in advance

Hi coldblooded357!
Whereabouts are you from?
There are many a website that supply cheap but quality 18650s as I have discovered over the weeks, as well as eBay sellers that are quite reasonable.

Have a good surf around, personally i use Nitecore charger and batts and have no issues.Keep well away from the bay for batteries is my advice and avoid cheap cells because that is what they are cheap and nasty.

Common sense is your best friend.
