I've been a long time member but haven't posted anything in quite a bit, just lost touch until a couple days ago, I found a nice piece of stainless and wanted to make
a flashlight with it, I machined some of the parts but than it dawned on me, I dont know where to begin with the lighting electronics (LED, heatsink, boards, batteries, [end cap]power switch and cover and batteries, and hardware like where to get clips to attach to belts). Can anyone help by pointing me in the right direction to a sort of basic comprehension of flashlight making 101 and where to get the parts? Well...I wanted to load pics of my machined flashlight body but apparently I cant for some reason.
