Today at a gun show I saw a Surefire that I could not ID. Granted, I am new to Surefire, so overlook my ignorance. It was a Surefire light about 7" long (give or take). Then on the body of the light, it had a place to mount a quick lever detachment. Ay idea what model this was and it's value?

Welcome to CPF!

Sounds like an M95 Series Millennium Universal WeaponLight.

The M95 is the bottom one:

There are many different combinations because the Millennium Universal WeaponLights are a modular system. Prices vary depending on switch type and mount type etc

Yes...It was a mounted light. The only thing I could come close to was, what I think Surefire calls the Scout. Except this one had the quick detach lever. The guy wanted $200... What do you think? It had a little wear on the high spots.

It was grey....I don't remember it looking like either of those. What really stood out was the quick lever detach that was mounted to the body of the Surefire.

So, with that integrated mount for a quick detach, does it sound like it was the Scout?

If it was grey rather than black then it wasn't a ScoutLight.
SureFire doesn't make a quick-detach mount for the ScoutLight - only a single thumbscrew.
In fact the top light in my photo shows a ScoutLight (pre-production sample in grey).

There is an aftermarket quick detach mount but it is expensive and not normally sold with the SureFire unless second-hand.

Regardless, $200 is a great price whichever model it was.

You really know this stuff....I do now remember the quick lever detach was not a surefire brand. The guy said it alone cost him $100.

Thanks so much for your help.

I love these lights, and how bright they are!

There are so many different combinations, versions, types etc of SureFire WeaponLight it could take a long time to work out which one it is.
Show me a photo and I'll be able to tell you, well, instantly.
$200 for pretty much any SureFire WeaponLight is a good deal.
