Ideal discharge current for D alkalines?

Do any of you know the ideal discharge current for D-cell alkalines,
I guess what I am asking is what is the ideal current draw that would lead to nearly or complete discharge over the maximum time frame.
I am looking to custom build emergency lights and I am looking for the ideal maximum rumtime.

hmmm.....so it looks as if I can draw 150ma for ~100hrs continuosly if I have interpreted this correctly. That is exactly what I am looking for, and thanks a ton for the info:thumbsup:
