I wasn't sure whether to post this here or in the LED Flashlight section. Since these hosts in question are a Convoy S2+, I opted to post here.

That being said, both of these emitters are SST40, in a 4-mode only, 5000mAH output in Convoy S2+ hosts, shown at different levels.

One is supposed to be 5000k and the other 6500k. The question is which is which?

Thanks.

Edit: I need to learn how to put the phone camera into manual mode, so it doesn't compensate for the brightness.

Without knowing details like ... the color of the wall, auto versus manual white balance, camera settings, etc ... it is difficult to be definitive.

That aside, to me (on my screen) it appears that the spot on the left of the image has a tint within the range of cool-white, while the other on the right has a warmer rosy tint.

If I were completely guessing, I have flashlights with similar tints, around ~ 5500 - 6000K (left) and 4000 - 4500K (right)

Both tints look pretty nice, among both the entire output range as well as throughout the spot and spill, although my personal preference would be for the one on the right.

Thanks. I don't know if this helps, but this is from manually setting white balance to 4900k on my phone (assuming I did I right).

I'm thinking the so called 6500k unit is in the left and the 5000k on the right.

Wow, really brings out the green, huh :eek:oo:

Yes, I think that is most likely too, although I wouldn't rule out the "5000K" being mis-binned ....

In contrast, here's a Nichia 219c, 5700k on the left and 4000k on the right, with the white balance set at the same 4900k. I'm assuming those are fairly accurate.

Obviously, these are 2-other S2+ lights I own.
