everytime new flashlight comes out, it must be very tempting to have one :sssh:, but if you can only have one flashlight, which one will you want?

- for me, hands down its the NC D10. I like ZL lines (H501, Sc50, H31) and PT EOS but if I can only have one, it's still my good old D10 which I been using for almost a year of extreme expedition, it has been smash into rock several time to save me from falling (with all my weight on its head), drowned in very strong current waterfall (not only once but quit a lot) and still work like jewel..

well, find yourself a masterpiece will never need replacement 😛 (but its still fun to have many for collection 😀)

Welcome to CPF, zbad 🙂

I'm moving your thread to LED Flashlights. I expect you'll get quite a few replies saying "ONE light is not enough!" LOL

Well, right now my "one light" would be my Ultrafire L2 modified with a Thrunite XP-G R5 3 mode drop-in and modified tail switch (forward clicky). It uses (1) 18650. High 300 lumens/low 3 lumens.

Led Lenser P7.

Spot to Flood Feature.

3 Modes

200 Lumen

Power by 3 AAA Batteries

Because it is not "Regulated" it will have usable light for days and days.

Want.......any Ti McGizmo:popcorn:

Already Have......Peak Night Patrol

RA Clicky Tactical 170. Good performance, good beam profile, good battery consumption, programable should my needs change, and built to survive pretty much anything I can throw at it.:twothumbs

Ra Light!
I've been EDCing the new Twisty 140 for a month,or so, and would choose it without a doubt. Original settings are perfect (.3/12/ Max lumens), smooth feeling, though solid like a tank (seems to be) .

My previous choice would have been ... the Clicky 170 Tactical.

HDS Ra light, anyway!

(Sorry for the approximate English, I'm French speaking)

One light is not enough! (to make a prediction come true)

JetBeam RRT-0.

Takes AA (lithium, NiMh, alkaline), 14500 LiIon, CR123A lithium & 16340 LiIon. 5 levels using the control ring. Nice separation between levels even running AA. Bright max level even on AA but especially on 123. Nice low low. Forward clickie. Great build quality and a handsome looking light to boot.

Of the ones I currently own I have to agree with Fooboy the LX2 is the one I'd keep. Between the long throw and decent runtime I feel pretty well covered. While CR123 batteries could be a problem there was nothing mentioned about that in the opening post. I keep plenty on hand anyway.

Surefire 6P with Malkoff M61 and McClicky switch conversion. Just a great feeling flashlight in every way.

I'd vote for my EDC - a Malkoff MD2/M61/hi lo switch. Several battery choices, nice size, great beam, made by people in the USA who really care about their customers.
