I just received my shipment of Princeton Tec Impact II LED flashlights. I have a Princeton Tec Impact and Princeton Tec Attitude so I decided to compare the three lights. Here is what I found:
1) The Impact II produces a spotlight beam that is almost identical to that of the Impact. The Impact's beam is a little brighter and whiter. The Attitude produces a beam that is a flood light.
2) The Impact II is about the size of the Attitude. The Impact II's dimensions are 5" X 1". The Attitude dimensions are 4.75" X 1". The Impact has 5.75" X 1.625" dimensions.
3) The Attitude is the lightest light at 2.6 oz. The Impact II weighs 2.85 oz. and the Impact weighs 5.7 oz. All weights of flashlights are with batteries.
4) The Impact comes with a lanyard while the other two lights come with a multi-purpose split ring. The Impact II also has a clip on its housing.
5) The Impact and the Attitude have a run time up to 150 hours. The Impact II's run time is 75 hours.
6) All three flashlights are waterproof to 500 ft.
7) The Attitude has three LEDs. The Impact and Impact II use a single LED and special optics that project a beam over 50 yards.
8) The Attitude and Impact II have translucent plastic housings. The Impact's plastic housing is made of solid colors.
9) The Attitude is the least expensive of the three Princeton Tec LED lights with a MSRP of $19.99. The Impact is the most expensive with a MSRP of 29.99. The Impact II has a MSRP of $24.99.
