In light of the recent talk, let's see your meters

Don't think we've had a pic post for this topic yet. Simple enough, let's see your volt/ohm/etc/multimeters. Should be at least as interesting as the flashlight photos we always see.

Here're the results of my recent spending spree to get into the modern age. Micronta 22-174, Fluke 87, Fluke 27/FM (military), Sears cheapie. Looks like I'm covered for now for digital meters:

And here's my preexisting collection of working analog meters. Triplett 630, Heathkit MM1, Micronta cheapie, and Hioki industrial. The Heath was assembled by my father somewhere around 1950.

And two that aren't ready for primetime yet. The Layfayette multimeter got cooked a while ago, and the Sylvania VTVM (that's vacuum tube for you youngsters) needs a complete overhaul I haven't had time for yet.

Also have two analog battery testers that didn't make it into the photo shoot.

Nice collection, abtomat. SHOW US YER LEADS! :lolsign: I love fancy test leads, big clips, little clips, long leads, short leads, wire piercing, you gotta have the full she-bang to get the job done.

I'm assuming you have an old o'scope somewhere, as cheap as they are right now.

Infrared thermometer?

OBD code scanner?

Carbon Pile battery tester?

Stud finder?

Ultrasonic room measurer?

(just running off a random list of related gizmos, any I forgot?)

Later on tonight I'll line up the army for a family portrait. No surprises. I used to have more than now. As a bonus how 'bout I'll line up the soldering iron drawer......

I gotta watch these photo sharing sessions remembering where I am. Just when I think I got plenty of flashlights, some of these guys lay out a collection of 20 toys all better than my best.......

I need to get a better one. I bought a cheapie Electro-Tek at Wallyworld for 10 bucks, its ok for everything but current above 250ma....need to find one that goes up to like 2A so I can properly measure batteries....

Unfortunately, I don't have a working camera to post images. However, I do have old Triplett and Micronta analog models that are close to yours.

Have a Heathkit meter that is the spittin' image of yours. It was the first Heathkit I ever built, sometime back in the 60's.

Also have a non-functional Heathkit VTVM that hasn't been used since the 70s, which I believe only needs one tube replaced to work again.

here's a pic of my messy work bench with meters all over.

Red one is a MC1000 multifunction calibration meter.
I've got three Fluke 87's and is my favorite meter.

an old Simpson meter is around somewhere when I need an analog VOM.

got meters stashed all over...it'd be a job getting all together for a pic.
