There's something to be said for incan modules. They are small, light, and still pretty powerful.

So - I've Lego'ed another favorite. It's an E1e head, with a Vital Gear FB1 body. This is absolutely one of the tiniest lights that I've ever seen or held. I can't wait for the LF HO bulb to get here - 50 lumens with an RCR123!

Cool stuff. This might be the light that accompanies my ankle holster all the time.

And - does SureFire sell the E1 incan head by itself?

I'm also looking for a ExE bezel, hard to find.
John from Lighthound told me that Vital gear is out of business, i think supremeco is sell the last VG tubes....

I had an E bezel and FB1 set up for a while with the LF EO1R lamp. Amazingly bright in such a small package, but I found it was almost too small and sold the tube and switched back to the E1e body.

The Lumens Factory lamps have really awakened the smaller incandescents. I always thought a single cell incandescent could never really be a true performer however again LF changed all of that.

If you like the 50 lumen version you should really try the E0 lamp at 90 lumens on a R123 cell. I carry this often and it really is an incredible set up and as you have found the VG1 body makes it a very small light. I had some trouble with the small threads stripping out on the VG1 clip however changed it to a locking bolt. With normal usage the factory screws should do fine. Mine was stretched out over time on my thicker duty belt.

Very nice! Any ideas what I could do with my Surefire E2e? If I have AW R123's, can I use two of them with some high powered incan bulb?

Yes. Lumens Factory makes a high output bulb that will work with 3.7v rechargeables.

HO-E2R is the product number. 110 Lumens. Nice.
