I want to revamp some of my backup lights in the truck with high cri options, and want to stick with AA compatibility, so I ordered a convoy T3 with 2700k 519a and a convoy T4 with 3500k 519a.
LOL... I read your post to say that you wanted to revamp your truck's back up lights, (You know, the ones that come on when you put the truck in reverse) , and you want to use flashlights! That was a head scratcher.

Ironically my Convoy T3 arrived a couple of days ago direct from Convoy. Love it! Very simple box. A little too simple. Literally nothing in it except the two Keeppower 14500 cells I ordered as well. And, ironically a couple of battery cases. One for two 14500/AA cells. One for what looks like a couple of 18650 cells. While I like the freebies, yeah; no instructions, no warranty card, no spare O-rings, etc. Plus, one of the 14500s was placed inside the light itself and thankfully wasn't accidentally bumped on, during shipping. Overall, a bit odd. This is my very first Convoy. Wondering if this is common for the brand.

Overall though, seems a solid choice for good quality lights without killing one's bank account.

Congrats on your first Convoy! Yes, the brand as a whole is very minimalistic, because of the price and moddability. A thin white cardboard box is the norm, only fancier models get the thicker boxes and foam lining.

The documentation you want is all on the product's store page, including the manuals. Instructions are there.
For warranty, you don't need more than to contact Simon (the owner) through a direct message on Ali. Takes a bit since he's a VERY busy man, but he stands by his products and is overall a stellar gentleman.
He can set you up with lenses, o-rings, buttons, rubber boots, and pretty much any of the components you may have to swap out, at basically only the shipping cost. Very worth it.

I just picked up my 3rd Zebra light light along with 6 of their cells yesterday. The new hardware was one of their AA lights that I failed to see that they offered, along with batteries for the larger versions.

Haha, I did type that in a rather confusing way.

Oh baby, I got a cool (to me) somewhat older & somewhat rare Maglite on the way. Not going to give it away until it gets here and I get pics. Let's say, it will be somewhat polarizing - as in, some will like it and some will hate it ... think about it. Haha.

Oh wow! I totally forgot.
JetBeam M64, and a thin Energizer Powerbank.
Fenix LD30 + a bunch of related Fenix accessories.
Pleather 3AAA belt pouch battery holder (also for a Zippo lighter).
Leather custom-made 2xCR123A belt pouch battery holder.

That's everything flashlight related.
